We live in a small house, considering the Canadian/North American standard.
We also have three children.
So when we finished our basement, we had to think very carefully about how we would divide the space. I think we did a pretty good job, here’s a timelapse video of the construction:
The Cloffice
We only have one bedroom downstairs that has been serving as a guest room for a few years.
Now that I’m working from home and needed a space to set up a workstation, that room seemed like the perfect candidate.
There is, however, no room for a queen bed, shelving, and a desk in there.
That’s when we had the idea for the “cloffice.”
We saw a few ideas on Pinterest on how to set up an office in a closet. And we loved it!
So this has been my little project for the last few days: to convert a closet into a mini office.
This week I had an electrician come and install three double outlets so I can have power in there:
Sometime in the next few days I will receive a desk and chair that I purchased recently. They will go in there, and then I’ll be good to go.
I’ll post more pictures as the work progresses 🙂
