Thanks for following along! Today was a very busy day.
Because last night was a bit of a late night, I slept in a bit and woke up just in time to get some breakfast. For today I reserved a room for all team leads of WordPress.com support so we could have breakfast together.
After breakfast I watched a few flash talks (4-minute talks given by all new employees), including one by one of my team members. She did a great job!
Following the flash talks I participated on day 2 of a product management course. Very engaging content and interesting questions.
After lunch with a few colleagues (great conversations!), I went back to class for the afternoon session.
When the class was over we celebrated a team member’s birthday and took our official team photo (it’s not ready yet, but I’ll post it then).
After our little celebration I rushed back to the music room to practice for about 30 minutes and FaceTimed with the family.
Harry Potter Experience
For dinner we were bussed to Harry Potter World at Universal Studios where we had the entire place to ourselves. We ate some food, drank some butterbeer, and went on rides. It was fun!
After this amazing experience, I went back to the hotel to practice another song. We closed the night with a Latin party, where we mingled and had a couple of drinks.
