Hunger exists because food exists.

We get sleepy. Then we get sleep. Then we’re not sleepy anymore.

Every desire points to something that exists, something that can fulfill it.

To me, the despair that death brings, and the desire for our loved ones to live forever are signs that point to the existence of eternity.

We crave infinite love because infinite love exists.

We want eternal life because eternal life exists.

We want to be with our loved ones forever because that is something that is possible.

Death is not the end. The pain and the longing that it brings are reminders that something exists that can alleviate them.

When facing death, look up. There’s more to life than our 2-D experience.

Mourn. And be hopeful.
